Semester Off to a Great Start

Thanks to everyone who showed up to the concert this Friday!  I hope everyone had fun.  You can see the Cornell Daily Sun’s coverage of it HERE.

I look forward to seeing everyone back this February 27th for Orchard Lounge’s second performance at Thumpty.

Message From the New President

My name is Chris Nieves and I’m the current President of the Beta Charge of Theta Delta Chi.  It’s an exciting time to be involved with the house!

We have an amazing social schedule ahead of us for this upcoming semester.  Just in the month of January we will have two great bands play intimate shows in our Grand Hall.  On the 20th, the reggae band Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad will play during our Rush Week.  And on the 29th, the esteemed live electronic duo Big Gigantic will play to help us all relax on the first weekend of the semester.  But its not just concerts that bring our brotherhood together.  Our newly elected social chairs are already hard at work planning a packed social schedule for the brotherhood.

2008-09 End of Year Report

The Brothers of the Beta Charge of Theta Delta Chi are proud to announce that for the second year in a row, our house has received a rating of 1 on the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs End of Year Report - the highest rating a Greek organization can achieve!  This fantastic rating on the 2008-09 End of Year Report means that the hard work being done by the undergraduates and the alumni to keep our Charge strong is going a long way in Thumpty continuing its status as one of the top fraternities at Cornell University.Thank you to everyone who made 2008-09 a memorable and successful year at the Beta Charge.  Your dedication to this house, be it as an undergraduate or an alumnus, is crucial in ensuring that Thumpty will continue its success throughout the 2009-10 school year, and for many more years to come!
