Fall 2013 Update

In the Fall of 2013, the Beta Charge of Theta Delta Chi writes another chapter in its proud and storied one hundred and forty-three year history. Through those years, Cornell and its Greek life have changed dramatically. The one constant for us, however, has been a strong and united brotherhood, bonded by a passion for our house and for one another. We pride ourselves on maintaining a spirit of individualism while coming together as a brotherhood, and this has proven to be a strong backbone for growth during and beyond members’ undergraduate years, individually and as a group. This past Spring, we added a new class of fine young gentlemen to this enduring brotherhood, and I am thrilled to bring our fraternity into a new year of exciting possibilities and maintained tradition.

Theta Delta Chi has also prided itself in adding value to both the Cornell and Ithaca community for many years. Whether it is through philanthropic efforts or cultural events presented by our Spectemur Agendo Foundation, nighttime programming, or concerts by locally and nationally acclaimed artists, we get great satisfaction out of giving back to the community we are a part of. This year, we look forward to continuing our unique, quality programming, and I invite you to join us.

Finally, I would like to recognize our alumni for the incredible work they do for our fraternity. The alumni of Theta Delta Chi are extremely involved in providing a gifted and memorable experience to the undergraduates. They maintain the beautiful mansion we live in and help greatly in allowing us to pursue areas of both personal and organizational growth. From those brothers who graduated last Spring to those who left Cornell more than forty years ago, their involvement not only makes for an exceptional undergraduate experience but also shows what it truly means to be part of a brotherhood.

With that said, I’d like to personally invite you to our home at 800 University. I look forward to meeting you in the upcoming academic year.
